NAMI is in our lobby.
Life is tough and we know this very well and here at The Wayne County YMCA we do what we can to help people in our community and surrounding areas.
We are very happy to have NAMI here with us to help anyone that needs to find resources and support for their mental health. Physical health is a critical piece to bettering our mental health, so while you’re here checking out NAMI, check out our health center and programs.
Mental Health is a topic more people are becoming comfortable talking about but before that can happen we must overcome the fear/stigma of the words mental illness and drug addiction
(Mental health problems and substance use disorders sometimes occur together).
Mental health conditions are non-judgmental, it doesn’t care if you are young, old, green, purple or how much money you have.
You do not have to travel that road alone.
